Cool Gel Ultimate 14-Inch Mattress - Twin

Our mattress delivered on time, however when it arrived and we unpacked it following the directions included, our mattress appeared to be way out of shape as far as width.
After 72 hours allowing the mattress to expand into shape we knew for sure we had a mattress that had a manufacturing defect.
The mattress was severely misshapen. A king bed should be 76 inches wide and the one we received was 80 inches wide at the foot, 4 inches wider than a king bed dimensions and the head of the bed was 78 inches wide, which is 2 inches wider.
I sent a message on CoolGel’s website and they requested photos of a measuring tape showing the width at the foot and the head of the bed which we were able to supply to them, along with a pic of the tag attached to the mattress.
We finally got a response back and they only offered us a 25% discount.
We bought a mattress that hangs over each side of the beds foundation, that fitted sheets do not fit correctly and they only wanted to offer a 25% discount rather than replacing the mattress!
We have slept on the mattress , the mattress itself is extraordinarily comfortable, but it is not acceptable to expect us to keep a mattress that that has such severe manufacturing defects.
I am typically not a complainer, however in this situation I’m very disappointed in the companies response to the issue.
We put in a warranty claim just past 72 hours of unpacking the mattress, hopefully they do the right thing and replace the mattress!

It wasn’t as cool or as soft as I would have preferred, but after a few nights, my body adjusted to the firmness.

Definitely COOL sleeping! I am sleeping soundly and comfortably every night! I can feel the mattress reacting around me when I shift my weight.

Way better and softer than our nectar mattresses that we exchange for this one, but I still wake up with sore spots and feeling a little bit uncomfortable so I’m not sure if it’s due to the mattress or just me and stress or something

Just had our CoolGel for under a month. So far very comfortable and happy with the purchase

It came with pink stains and wet all over the mattress. And customer service it awful about providing a solution!

My wife and I absolutely love this mattress. We were overdue for a new mattress and after careful consideration, we agreed to try the Cool Gel Ultimate. It provides comforting support with not being too hard or too soft. Best We have slept in years.

So far I'm happy with it. I ordered one in November at that time I only needed one. This was to go together with that one. But I think its shorter. Because they are not the same height when next to each other. It's a king bed. So there's a dip between them. Lol.

This is a great mattress for a medium to firm sleeper. It is extremely comfortable. There is no need to buy a more expensive mattress. Super high quality. BTW, this is our 2nd purchase from these people. The other mattress is about 5 years old and is still in great shape.

DO NOT BUY! I bought this mattress a year ago and have always took care of it. It always had a mattress protector and I made sure it never had any liquid spills on it. We lifted the mattress up to vacuum and to our surprise it was INFESTED with MOLD! MOLD all over the bottom of the mattress yet it has never been wet. Not only was this mattress expensive, but we didn't even have it that long and yet this happened. Not to mention I have NEVER in my life had this issue!

I usually wake up with sore shoulders as i am a side to side sleeper.

It is a great quality matress but It is not as soft as i had hoped. The matress is too firm but the pillow is amazing.

Purchased a king sized mattress which was supposed to be 80 x 76 inches. After setting up the mattress and giving 3 days to expand the mattress only measures 80x 72 inches wide. It makes the platform look off with 2 inches on both sides not covered by the matress. Support when called was let it expand longer. Over a week and still a narrow mattress. Color me disappointed.

The mattress itself is perfect. The outside shell material of the mattress is more stiff and scratchy than my last one.

This mattress is very comfortable but I don't get the slightest cooling from it. I still wake up hot.

It is firm and comfortable but it does not have the cooling effect that I anticipated.

Bought the mattress because my Mom was coming to stay with us after she was released from the hospital and we needed a new mattress for our hospital bed. She loves it and says it is very comfortable.

It was hard at the start but after you walk on it for a week or so sleep on it it starts getting softer. Very pleased

I am finally getting a good night's sleep! My back doesn't hurt anymore and my neck feels better too!
